| FREE TV on Your PC! |
 |
|
TV has arrived for your PC! TVU Networks (China) has
created a new FREE Internet-Based TV viewer, that allows you
to watch stations from around the globe right on your PC or
laptop. There is nothing to buy, no subscription fees and you
only need an Internet connection.
The new service is based on the Peer-to-Peer model of
sharing, which allows users across the globe to broadcast
stations from their home to the World. The service is great
for sports fans, or when the kids have taken over the
TV.

| Craigslist in the Okanagan! |
 |
|
The Worlds #1 FREE online classified service, Craigslist,
in now in the Okanagan Valley of BC. There are currently only
about 350 ads in Kelowna, versus 163,000 in Vancouver; but you
can expect it to really take off once the word gets
out.
Craigslist is renowned for it's grass-roots power,
with zero advertising. Plus it's FREE. Go ahead and advertise
anything: jobs, cars, tickets, services! Go nuts!

| FREE Online Backup |
 |
|
AOL acquired Xdrive, an online backup service, this year
and immediately made it FREE. Sign up for a free account and
you will be provided a whopping 5GB of space to use as you
please.
With your 5GB of secure online storage there's
plenty of room to keep backup copies of digital photos, all
your important documents, e-mail attachments, and other files
— and still have space leftover for your music collection.
It's the best way to keep computer crashes from becoming
disasters. Think of it as hard drive insurance.

New FREE Anti-Virus |
|
|
|
Grisoft has released an updated version of their FREE
Anti-Virus, as you have been probably made aware by the (good)
nagging pop-up notification. The new version 7.5 MUST be
installed before January 1st, in order to be fully
protected.
We have created a very helpful "How-to"
video to assist you in the upgrade process. This video is
intended for those who are currently using AVG Free
7.1.
If you are currently using another antivirus that
you are satisfied with, then please ignore the video. However,
if your existing solution is about to expire, we recommend the
AVG Free Edition as a great alternative to the retail
products. It's light, fast and effective. Watch the Video
