Critical Update Requires Reboot...
Microsoft released new security update last night,
rated CRITICAL; it's highest rating of
urgency. This
update would have installed automatically if your
system is set for “Automatic Updates”. However,
the patch will not take effect until you reboot
(restart) your computer. Please do so
immediately.
If you are unsure if your system is getting automatic
updates, please click Check for Automatic
Updates to find out. (Select the second
option).
If you are running a “borrowed” copy of
Windows XP, you may need help getting these
updates installed manually; as Microsoft is blocking
all non-legitimate XP users from getting most
updates. However, critical updates will be allowed,
in order to prevent security breaches.
